Teenagers Secrets.
Teenagers Secrets A True story.
This story may warm your heart. Recently we have been watching the movie The Secret, and we find it quite inspirational and exciting. We have two teenage boys 15 and 16 and they have been watching the movie with us on certain times when they are around. We found this really great because it gave them a new perspective on what can happen in their lives.
Being a close knit family, we started to discuss the different aspects of the secret and their comments were quite interesting, and they asked a lot different questions. We have always believed that thoughts are things and what you think about is what you get.
The secret however has put these things into a easy to understand format on a DVD and Book.
Recently, my youngest son said Dad, how can I explain this to my friends at school, I said, what do you mean? How can I tell them about The Secret. They might think that I’m crazy. I said why will they think your crazing? He said by visualising and all that stuff, and the Law of Attraction, they probably won’t understand that. That’s okay I said, why don’t you lend them a copy of the movie The Secret and let them have a look at it just like your been doing here at home. He said that’s a good idea Dad. I will mention to them that they can have a lend of the movie and they can make up their own mind.
About a week went past and I never heard any more, then one afternoon after school, my son said Dad a friend of mine is coming around to have a look at the movie on the weekend is that okay? I said sure that would be great.
My son had one of his friends around and they were sitting in the lounge room watching the movie. I found it quite inspirational that my son is now sharing this with other friends at school. After the movie had finished I casually walked through the lounge room and asked, what did you think of the movie? Well his friends response was Í’m so impressed. I can do a lot of things by using this movie to help me to find a job or do anything I wanted to in my life.We sat down on the couch and spoke for about 20 minutes, and it was really fun to see their side of what the secret means to them, as teenagers. That night we had a great discussion over the dinner table about what had happened. So it certainly has provoked a lot of thinking in our home. To my surprise the following weekend there were more teenagers in our lounge room watching The Secret altogether. I think there was a total of six young teenagers all watching the movie.
The story doesn’t end there, I since found out that some of the boys have asked their parents to buy the movie the secret and they are sharing and watching it with their parents. I just love this stuff because its all positive, if we can help young people to make a difference in their lives how amazing is that.
